Orders
From a customer paying to a parcel going out.
Orders appear under Orders in the sidebar, newest first.
What happens when someone buys
- The customer picks a delivery option and pays.
- The payment is confirmed by Curlec, and the order appears in the admin.
- You pack it and mark it fulfilled.
- The customer gets a confirmation at each step.
An order only reaches the list once payment is confirmed. Someone who abandons the payment screen never becomes an order.
Working an order
Open it, and you get the customer's details, what they bought, what they paid, and the delivery address.
Check the address before packing. Malaysian addresses are often entered loosely, and a missing postcode costs a redelivery.
To send it: Fulfill on the order, confirm the items, and mark it shipped. Add a tracking number if you have one — it appears in the customer's confirmation and stops the "where is my order" messages.
Cancelling
Cancel the order, then refund the payment separately — cancelling does not move money on its own. See Payments.
Drafts
Orders → Drafts creates an order by hand, for a customer who phones or walks in. Useful for a quote you want to keep, or for taking payment another way.
